Before I Get There

Preparing for Mexico has been a fun challenge. For those of you who do not know, I am running away to Mexico to teach English to little ninos for 4 months:) I do not speak much Spanish so it should be fun...... I am making 3 main goals to accomplish while I am there. 1) Teach/ serve the children, 2) Learn spanish 3) Become a Mexican (immerse myself in culture). I am a little/lottle frightened, but also way excited! I'm not sure what to expect, but I know I will learn a lot. Its my favorite when I tell someone what I am doing and their immediate response is:"you know it is really dangerous!!!" lol. It may be but I feel we take just as many risks every time we get into a car. It's all about precautions. Don't get me wrong, I'm worried but I think this is a great opportunity and I'm taking it!
